My beekeeping journey began in 1990 with the capture of a wild swarm.

What startet as fascination soon developed into a deep passion for honey bee 

breeding genetics and long-term selektion.

Early experience with instrumental insemination
and controlled mating opened the path
toward modern honey bee braiding.

Training in Mayen and collaboration with experienced breeders
strongly influenced the development
of today's breeding philosophy at WJA BEES.
