I completed my training as a beekeeper in Germany in 1990.
I have been intensively breeding Buckfast bees since 2016 and since 2019, I have been breeding for HYG+ and Varroa tolerance.
My thoughts are that the bees should be treated with as few chemicals as possible to get them safely through the winter.
I also think that without winter treatment, it should be possible to get the bee colonies to survive. I have developed a biological concept that works without chemicals.
With the help of instrumental insemination and moonlight mating, I can raise queens that are strong in HYG+ and VSB.
With HYG+, American foulbrood can be significantly reduced!
With VSB, the bees go against the Varroa mites!
